Norwich City Football Club is 110!
Norwich City celebrated its 110th birthday on Sunday, June 17 as the Football Club prepares to embark upon its 100th competitive domestic campaign in the 2012-13 Barclays Premier League.
The Club was formed at the Criterion Cafe in White Lion Street, Norwich on Tuesday, June 17, 1902 in a meeting called by Robert Webster and Joseph Cowper Nutchey, and has been proudly representing the city of Norwich and the county of Norfolk ever since.
Due to the cessation of domestic league football during World War One and World War Two, the 2012-13 season will be the Club's 100th in competitive league action.
