Young Canaries return from Wearside with a point

NORWICH City's Under-18s played out their first draw for 23 matches against Sunderland at the Academy of Light as the game finished 1-1.

Lewis Byrne-Hewitt gave Neil Adams' side the lead at half-time with his fourth goal of the campaign.

The hosts equalised in the second period and in the end both teams had to settle for point.

City's youth team are next in action this Saturday March 22 when they make the trip to Southampton (11am).

NORWICH CITY: Killip; Burgess (Fox 75), Lokko (c), Boateng; Awuah; Efete, Black, Randall, Wyatt; Byrne-Hewitt, Browne. Subs not used: Oxborough (GK), Simpson, Cole, Scales.
