THREE Norwich City players are moving closer to a return to first team action when the Canaries take on Barnsley at Carrow Road on Saturday (3pm).
(knee), Nelson Oliveira
(foot) and Timm Klose
(back) have all been absent for varying lengths of time, but the trio could come into the mix for the visit of The Tykes.
"Nelson has had a full week of training and has trained well, as has Graham," caretaker manager Alan Irvine told Norwich City TV on Friday morning.
"Timm's trained all week and is fine so will be in contention as well. That's certainly something for us to take into consideration.
"We'll take as much time as we need to finalise the squad, based upon information we get from the medical team."
Further away from being involved is Youssouf Mulumbu
, who remains sidelined with a thigh problem after last featuring for City in February's win over Nottingham Forest.
will definitely miss out as he begins a three-match suspension following his red card against Blackburn last weekend, with Steven Whittaker one possible option as his replacement.
"Steven was the one who came on [against Blackburn] and we don't have too many options at full-back, so it could be an opportunity for him," Irvine added.
Longer-term, Louis Thompson
won't play again this season after undergoing Achilles surgery in January.
