CARLTON Morris made his long-awaited first appearance for Rotherham United on Saturday.

The City Academy graduate joined the struggling Millers on loan in January but has since been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Morris entered the field as a 70th-minute substitute against Queens Park Rangers, but the damage was already done for Paul Warne's side as they eventually fell to a 5-1 loss at Loftus Road.

A division below, both Declan Rudd and Harry Toffolo were involved in 2-1 defeats.

Toffolo's Scunthorpe continued to drop off the promotion pace in as a stoppage time Phil Edwards goal earned Oxford United a 2-1 win at the Kassam Stadium.

Rudd's Charlton were seen off by league leaders Sheffield United despite going ahead after just three minutes through a Ricky Holmes free-kick.

Jack O'Connell and Daniel Lafferty each found a way past Rudd to turn the game in the Blades' favour, leaving Charlton in 17th place in Sky Bet League One.

In the Vanarama National League, Ray Grant wasn't involved for Dagenham and Redbridge as they slipped to a 2-1 loss to Barrow.

North of the border, Remi Matthews was an unused substitute in Hamilton Academical's 4-0 defeat to Rangers while Tony Andreu played 90 minutes for Dundee United as they were beaten at Raith Rovers.
