City Ladies romp to County Cup semi-finals

NORWICH City Ladies ran out incredible 23 (twenty-three) – 0 winners over Aylsham to secure a semi-final place in the County Cup.

The game saw Nadine Basson claim seven goals with Anna Larkins also chipping in with a double hat-trick. The game saw eight of the eleven starters for the Ladies get on the score-sheet.
Within two minutes the Ladies were two goals to the good thanks to Vicki Stephens and a first for Basson.

By half-time the City Ladies were 13 goals to the good, Larkins completing her hat-trick before grabbing a fourth alongside two goals for Whitehurst, a second for Stephens and a goal for Kate Parsons before the break.

There was no let up in the scoring after the break as Hayley Collison, Natalie Clarke and Parker quickly added their names to the scoresheet  before Basson completed her hat-trick to make it 17.

Basson quickly added a further two goals before Larkins completed her double hat-trick to make it 20.

A seventh for Basson, a hat-trick goal for Whitehurst and a final effort from Parsons completed the scoring and secured the Ladies place in the County Cup semi-finals.
