A YOUNG Norwich City Xl came back from a goal down to win 3-1 in a pre-season friendly at Fakenham.
However Academy Manager Ricky Martin's side, comprised of FA Youth Cup winners and a number of young trialists, suffered a blow when midfielder Cameron King sustained a suspected broken arm during the game.
Fakenham took the lead in the first half when James Page was quickest to react to a loose ball in the City box and pounced to slot past Remi Matthews in the Norwich goal.
But the Canaries hit back after the break when French trialist Bertrand Alang scored twice to edge the visitors in front.
Substitute Carlton Morris wrapped things up in the 87th minute, cutting in from the right and jinking past two defenders before firing home from an acute angle.
After the game Ricky Martin told canaries.co.uk: "It was good to get a game under our belts and particularly nice to get out into the county to a club such as Fakenham. They have made us very welcome, provided good opposition and on a decent surface.
"It was nice to score some goals and get the win but that has been dampened by the news of Cameron's injury, and we certainly wish him a speedy recovery."
