Midweek involvement for three players

JOSH Murphy's MK Dons were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield Town in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday evening, with the City Academy winger completing 69 minutes for the home side.

The Dons went in front shortly before the half-hour mark through Alex Revell, ahead of Huddersfield's Philip Billing being sent off early in the second period having only come on as a substitute at the interval.

However, despite being down to ten men the visitors rescued a point from the contest four minutes from time when Nahki Wells struck with his 14th of the season.

Elsewhere in the division, Michael Turner missed out on the matchday squad as Sheffield Wednesday came from behind to draw 1-1 at home to Queens Park Rangers.

Another player to be absent from the matchday squad was Harry Toffolo, who didn't feature in Peterborough United's 2-1 home defeat to Oldham Athletic in Sky Bet League One.

In the Vanarama National League, Cameron Norman came on as a late substitute for Woking but couldn't prevent a 3-1 defeat at Grimsby Town.

All the goals came during the opening half, with The Cards having now lost their last three league games following an impressive run of form earlier in the season.

A tier further down, goalkeeper Ben Killip kept a clean sheet as Lowestoft Town and Hednesford Town  played out a 0-0 draw in the Vanarama National League North.

The City youngster has now produced successive shut-outs, following The Trawler Boys' 3-0 victory over Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.

Finally, Jamar Loza missed out on the matchday squad as Southend United beat Sky Bet League One leaders Burton Albion 3-1 at Roots Hall on Monday night.
