Josh and Jacob Murphy are 19 years old today. Graduates of the Norwich City academy, the twins have been with the club since playing for the Under 12s. Rising through the ranks ever since, it's the last year that's seen them grabbing the headlines.
After signing their first professional contracts
with City back in January last year, they followed that by signing new extended contracts
in December and have both since made their first-team debuts.
Josh strode out
first at Watford in the Capital One Cup in September, coming off the bench to ignite a dramatic Canaries comeback victory with a stunning goal.
Jacob made his debut
against Fulham in the FA Cup, coming off the bench to replace his brother, who had himself made his first full debut at Carrow Road that day. Jacob has since joined Swindon Town
on loan until 8 March, where he's made an instant impact for the promotion-chasing League One side as he continues his development as one of the country's brightest young talents.
Whatever next year brings, it's sure to see City's young double act stealing the show once more.
Happy birthday, lads!
