YOUNG City goalkeeper Remi Matthews has signed for Doncaster Rovers on an emergency loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old stopper joins Darren Ferguson's side as they face nine matches to preserve their Sky Bet League One status. A run of 12 league games without a victory has seen Rovers drop into the relegation places.
Matthews, who was born in Gorleston, has been with City’s Academy since the age of 10 but is yet to make his senior bow for the Canaries.
Earlier this season he spent time on loan at League One leaders Burton Albion, appearing six times in league and cup.
Matthews is eligible to play in Doncaster's away game against Colchester United on Good Friday.
