Fans urged to get to Carrow Road early for Everton game

CITY are asking supporters to get to Carrow Road early for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League curtain-raiser against Everton (3pm kick-off) as the Club is launching its new stadium access system.

From now on fans will need to scan their season tickets or match tickets in easy-to-use scanning devices situated at every turnstile. The new system will improve stadium access and supporter security and also help the Club to guard against ticket fraud.

To avoid queues and delays in the build-up to kick-off on Saturday, supporters are being urged to get to Carrow Road before 2.30pm - all season ticket holders who enter before 2.30pm will be entered into a draw to win their 2013-14 season ticket for free!

Details of the new system have been sent to every season ticket holder and member. Once you have correctly scanned your ticket, a green light on the scanner indicates you can enter the ground, while any amber light means the turnstile operator needs to verify you have the correct ticket before allowing you to proceed.

In the event of a red light on the display, you will need to leave the turnstile area and seek the advice of one of our helpful customer services assistants who will be situated around the outside of Carrow Road.
