Feature-packed mag out this Saturday

"SPEND some time with Steven Naismith and you quickly realise why Alex Neil was so keen to add him to his ranks for Norwich City’s survival battle.

Every football fan worth their salt knows what the January signing can do on the pitch: a key player for Scotland, he is a proven performer at the very highest level. He has over 100 Premier League appearances under his belt and, memorably, scored a stunning hat-trick for Everton against defending champions Chelsea earlier this season.20150210 Naismith Promo_EMBED

But Naismith is no prima donna. Straightforward and humble, the 29-year-old son of a social worker exudes a steely determination and speaks with frankness about the task that he and his teammates have been set – to keep the Canaries in the division.

“I’m looking forward to it. That was something I had to think about when I was coming, that it was going to be a challenge. When I was at Rangers and fighting for titles, the pressure was on every week and that’s pretty similar to what it will be like here,” Naismith told ‘The Canary’ at Colney."

To read the full, exclusive interview with Steven Naismith make sure you get your copy of 'The Canary' magazine when it hits the shelves this Saturday, February 13!

The refreshed magazine also has in-depth features on Alex Neil, Robbie Brady, Russell Martin and Ryan Bennett, plus much more across its 140 pages for all Norwich City fans to enjoy.

Priced at just £4.50, 'The Canary' will be on sale from Saturday from programme vendors around Carrow Road at the West Ham game, in all three Canaries Official stores, online HERE and in newsagents county-wide.
