NORWICH City will welcome the family of late Canary Hall of Famer Tommy Bryceland as special guests for Tuesday night’s visit of Tottenham Hotspur to Carrow Road (7:45pm).
The Club were deeply saddened to hear of Tommy’s passing at the age of 76 last week, with his son Marcus, daughter Marianne and grandson Luca set to be in attendance when City take on Spurs.
We ask everyone to welcome Tommy’s family, and to help join us in paying respect to the former inside forward by taking part in a minute of applause ahead of kick-off.
Tommy made a total of 284 appearances for City between 1962 and 1969, forming a key part of the Norwich team which famously knocked a star-studded Manchester United side out of the FA Cup in 1967.
A skilful and intelligent player, he netted 55 times in Canary colours, finishing as the Club’s second-highest scorer in a season on three separate occasions.
