Arsenal U18s 0, Norwich City U18s 0

FOLLOWING on from booking their place in the last eight of the FA Youth Cup four days earlier, a much changed U18 side earned a well deserved point away at Arsenal.

The young Canaries dominated possession throughout the keenly contested encounter, but with goalscoring chances proving elusive for both sides, had to settle for a share of the spoils.

Afterwards, manager Neil Adams said; "I was very pleased with our superiority in terms of ball retention, as it isn't often you come to places like Arsenal and pin them back in their own half for long spells of the game. But we found it difficult to open them up and create genuine chances, so overall I suppose a draw was a fair result."

CITY: Matthews; Quirk (trialist) (Carroll 70), Randall, Lokko, Wyatt; McGeehan, Heath (Norman 60), Gainford (trialist) (St Louis 65), King, Morris, Young. Subs not used: Oxborough, Hodd.
