Everton edge out Canaries at Colney

CITY’s Under-18s slipped to a 1-0 defeat to an impressive Everton side at Colney Training Centre on Saturday morning.

The visitors were on top throughout the first-half, and took the lead George Green made space for himself and played a fine through ball for Courtney Duffus to finish.

Neil Adams’ side improved in the second half and had a chance cleared off the line in the final moments as they pushed for an equaliser.

They couldn’t make the breakthrough, however, and slipped to their fourth defeat of the season which left them 7th in the 11-team South Group of the Under-18s Premier League.

The Canaries’ next game is against Leicester City at Colney Training Centre on Thursday November 7 (1pm)
