Club and CSF deliver gifts to children's ward

FOUR players were joined by members of the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation to make the annual Christmas visit to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Bradley Johnson, Elliott Bennett, Gary Hooper and Wes Hoolahan and CSF mascot Sportasaurus visited the Buxton Ward to give gifts.

The Norwich City squad have made a donation to be shared between the Norfolk and Norwich, Quidenham Children's Hospice and St. James Paget Hospital in Norfolk to help fund specific projects or play equipment. The Club and CSF have also made a donation of goodies and gifts which are to be distributed at visits over the next few weeks.

Emma Dolman, Matron of Children’s Services at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, said:  “We’re very grateful to the Club and the players for visiting our patients in their free time and for their kind donations of presents. It was really lovely and shows a great sense of community spirit. The visit helped to brighten up the children’s day and gave them some distraction from their time in hospital.”
