NORWICH City Football Club is proud to announce our annual Disability Awareness Week is being held from Monday, November 10 to Saturday, November 15 spanning the home fixture against Swansea City at Carrow Road.

There are a number of activities planned to help to continue to raise awareness of the facilities at Carrow Road and the opportunities to watch live football along with the coaching courses offered by Football In The Community.

Supporters Forum
After the success of our first disabled supporters forum in March we will be holding the second supporters forum on Wednesday, November 12 at 7pm in the Russell Allison Lounge in The Barclay Stand. The evening will give disabled supporters the exclusive opportunity to ask questions to a panel from the Club including Chairman Roger Munby and City player Adam Drury.

By holding the event at Carrow Road, and with a number of other facilities being available on the night including a British Sign Language interpreter, we hope to make the event as accessible as possible to all. Other Activities
On Thursday, November 13, Football In The Community is hosting the first stage of the Children's Disability Grand Prix League at Power League, Bowthorpe. There are four leagues consisting of U14 boys, U16 boys, U16 girls and SLD, with 14 specials schools taking part from around Norfolk and North Suffolk, involving 200 children. The players have a range of disabilities, predominately learning difficulties, and will compete against each other playing 5-a-side matches in a competitive 3-stage tournament.

Finally, on Saturday, November 15, Football In The Community will be hosting an adult deaf 7-a-side football match between the Norwich City FC team and Ipswich Town FC team. The match will kick off at 1.30pm on the 3G pitch at Carrow Park. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the Canaries' in this match.
