Academy matters
Good afternoon everybody and welcome back to Carrow Road for the first Barclays Premier League home match of the 2011-12 season.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish the manager, his staff and of course all the players the very best of luck for the season ahead.
This season the Academy have signed 10 first-year scholars, below is an introduction to these players who will be taking part in our youth team matches this season.

Harry Barker - Harry, who is from Little Plumstead, has been registered at the Academy since he was nine years old. He is a very athletic, competitive defender who can play at right back or centre back.

Rian Carroll - Rian is a versatile player who is most comfortable playing in a central midfield position. He is a combative and hard working and joined the Club having progressed through our Hatfield Development Centre.

Reece Hall-Johnson - Reece, who hails from March in Cambridgeshire, is another player who has had a long association with the Club. Reece is an attacking midfielder with a high level of technical ability.

Jacob Murphy - Jacob has enjoyed a long association with the Club and lives in St Germans near Kings Lynn. He is a forward player who possesses great pace and an eye for a goal.

Joshua Murphy - Joshua, who is also from St Germans, is a quick, athletic forward with good goal scoring ability. He has been a member of the Academy for a number seasons and has progressed well during his time here.

Kyle McFadden - Kyle has recently joined the Club from Irish team Swilly Rovers. Kyle trained with us towards the end of last season and impressed the staff at the Club with his hard work and competitive defensive style.

Cameron McGeehan - Cameron is a strong, combative midfield player who possess a good array of passing skills. Cameron joined the Club following his release from Chelsea when he was 14.

Joe Peacock - Joe hails from Cambridge and is comfortable playing in wide or central midfield positions. He is quick and possesses great technical ability and close control when running with the ball.

Dominic St Louis - Dominic is a strong, athletic forward who causes defences problems with his pace. Dominic has progressed through the Hatfield Development centre.

Harry Toffolo - Harry is a technically good defender who loves to get forward from his left back position and support attacks. Harry is another player who has spent a number of seasons training at the Hatfield Development .
These are a talented group of young players, it is now up to them to work hard and impress the staff at the Club sufficiently in order to give themselves the best opportunity possible to progress at the Club.
Enjoy the game.
