ABOUT CFTC

CANARIES for the Community was founded by volunteer Duncan MacInnes in February 2003 and is supported by main club sponsors Aviva.

Duncan makes regular visits to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to talk to patients of all ages in 12 wards on all things Norwich City. Duncan has a laptop computer, which enables him to keep patients up to date with video news and goals from the Club. During the year a number of our Academy scholars support Duncan on his visits, which in turn provided them with good experience to handle their responsibilities to the community as young professional footballers.

Duncan also oversees two community projects during the summer months, which involves Norwich City supporters and staff carrying out maintenance work at lower league football clubs and at local community projects and organisations.
