The judges looked for evidence of outstanding levels of service and high standards of meeting room technology for business clients, as well as investment in new products and services. They also looked for commitment to excellence, investment in staff training and development, innovative marketing, commitment to accessibility, and care for the environment.

The judges commented: "We were very impressed by the commitment of the whole team to deliver a first class experience. The standard of meeting rooms and the quality of the food and service is an asset to Norfolk that the judges feel is still undervalued and is in some cases unknown in the city and county at large.
