NORWICH U18s 2 ARSENAL U18s 3
CITY'S under 18s were unlucky at Colney as Arsenal returned to the capital with all three points.
Arsenal started the game the brighter of the two sides, hitting the post early on and creating some good chances. Norwich eventually found their feet and slowly started to get back into the game with some good attacking play of their own.
After 10 minutes a shot by Tom Adeyemi was blocked by an Arsenal defender with his arm inside the area and the referee pointed to the penalty spot. Kris Renton stepped up and scored to take the lead and make it 1-0. Within a minute Arsenal were level, a quick break down the right-hand side and a low cross was turned in from close range to make the scores level.
Goalkeeper Declan Rudd was called into action on more than one occasion and produced some excellent saves to keep the scores level. With around five minutes of the first half remaining, a deep cross from the Norwich right found Renton on the edge of the box, who controlled the ball on his chest before scoring with a spectacular scissor-kick into the roof of the Arsenal net.

The second half started very evenly with both teams playing some good football. After an hour Dario Dumic was adjudged to have fouled the Arsenal forward and a penalty was awarded which led the home side to score bringing the scores to 2-2.
Declan Rudd continued to impress in the Norwich goal making two excellent saves. On 70 minutes Kenny Reeves replaced Danny Kelly and on 84 minutes Tyree Clarke came on for Kris Renton.
With just five minutes left on the clock, a strong run from an Arsenal midfielder found him with time on the edge of the Norwich box and angled a shot into the far corner of the goal which Declan Rudd was unable to stop, making the score 3-2 to Arsenal and gave the visitors maximum points.
