CITY'S Academy side staged an amazing comeback to come back from three goals down with six minutes remaining to earn a point against Leeds United, in their opening game of the league season.
Leeds started off the brighter of the two sides with more possession and territory but it was City that should have led.
Patrick Drmola had a great chance to open the scoring from six yards getting on the end of Tyree Clarke's cross, but Drmola saw his shot go wide.
The hosts almost took the lead on 28 minutes, when a deflected free-kick from the edge of the area clipped the top of the crossbar.
City didn't heed the warning and fell behind due to a dubious penalty award. Defender Dario Dumic was adjudged to have tripped a Leeds striker in the area, but despite no appeals from any United players, the referee awarded a spot-kick, which was duly converted.
Half-Time: Leeds United 1-0 City
Ricky Martin sent his Canary side out for the second half looking for a response after a below-par first-half performance.
On 65 minutes, Martin sent on David Nwaogu to replace Drmola in attack, looking to convert the pressure built up at the start of the half.
However, a mad three minutes saw Leeds score twice on 66 and 69 minutes to seemingly take the game out of City's reach.
The Canaries grabbed what seemed like nothing more than a consolation game at the time with six minutes remaining when the bright and dangerous Nwaogu converted a penalty after a blantant push in the box.
City scored again on 88 minutes when Irish youth international striker Danny Kelly showed good composure when one-on-one with the 'keeper to score with a well-taken shot to reduce the arrears to one.
Then in injury time the comeback was complete courtesy of captain George Francomb. The full-back raced into the box, beat the last defender with some great skills before firing home an unstoppable shot to level the game and send the young Canaries wild with celebration.
