ACADEMY BEAT CHARLTON ATHLETIC

Posted on: Mon 05 Oct 2009

CITY Academy beat Charlton Athletic 4-2 on a windy afternoon at Sparrows Lane.

Playing the first half into the wind, City dealt with the conditions very well, creating the better of the scoring opportunities but the first half ended without score.

Norwich took the lead early in the second half through George Francomb (pictured top right) and continued to dominate and went further ahead with goals from Danny Kelly, Patrick Drmola and an own goal, with a goal for Charlton in between.
