CITY'S Academy side lost their 100 per cent home record today following a disappointing 3-1 defeat at the hands of Fulham.
Norwich got off to the worst possible start, when a Fulham forward found himself with time and space in the Norwich area and fired a fierce shot high into Jed Steer's goal to give the visitors the lead.
The young Canaries slowly started to get back into the game and possession levelled out, but on 25 minutes Fulham broke quickly and a lobbed shot from a wide position tested Jed Steer who did well to back-pedal and tip the ball over the crossbar for a corner.
Norwich's first shot in anger did not arrive until the half-hour mark, with trialist Coskun Ekim firing over with a free-kick.
Fulham finished the half as the stronger side, but despite creating a number of attacks were unable to extend their lead.
After the break with 50 minutes on the clock a long ball forward from the Fulham defence was flicked into the path of the striker who hit the post when one-on-one with Jed Steer.
Five minutes later it was 2-0, when a ball through the heart of the Norwich defence set the Fulham striker clear and he kept his composure to slot the ball into the bottom corner.

For Norwich Phil Roberts replaced David Nwaogu on 65 minutes.
With five minutes left Norwich gave themselves a lifeline. Patrick Drmola received the ball with his back to goal, showed good footwork, turned well and produced an excellent finish to make the score 2-1.
But Fulham responded immediately and scored following a corner to make the final score 3-1.
Academy Manager Ricky Martin said: "We were forced into some changes today, but I still thought we had a side capable of winning the game. This was not the case, I was disappointed with the lack of chances we created as well as our lack of quality in possession today."
