AS THE league campaign draws to a close, the Actim Index - the Official Player Ratings of the Coca-Cola Championship - reveals that Darren Huckerby is the Canaries' Actim Player of the Season 2006/2007.

Huckerby, who finished 5th in the final Index, is Norwich's highest-ranked player in the Index this season with 631 points. He has contributed eight goals, 79 shots, 110 tackles, five clearances, 13 interceptions, 104 dribbles, 408 passes, 209 crosses and 10 assists in 3,754 minutes of football.

Other Norwich City players who have ranked highly in the Actim Index during the 2006/07 season are Jason Shackell (34th), Dickson Etuhu (60th), Lee Croft (98th) and Adam Drury (121st).

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player's contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards. Two additional calculations, which take account of player assists and goalkeeper's clean sheets, have been added for the new season to increase the amount of variables a player is now measured by.

Analysis of all Championship games has taken place throughout the league campaign and the top five Norwich City players in the Actim Index this season are:
