CAMARA EXTENDS CITY STAY

Posted on: Mon 07 Jan 2008

NORWICH have extended Derby County left-back Mo Camara's loan stay with the Canaries until the end of the season.

The Guinea-born 32-year-old joined at end of November until January 1 as cover for Adam Drury, who suffered a long-term knee injury in October. He has impressed in his 10 starts for the Canaries.

Camara found himself on the sidelines at Pride Park making just two appearances for the struggling Rams' side this season, one in the Premiership and one in the Carling Cup - a defeat on penalties to Blackpool in which Camara scored in normal time.

Camara joined Derby in the summer of 2006 on a free transfer from Celtic and played 24 games last season. Athletic and dangerous going forward, Camara also played for Burnley and Wolves after moving to England from the French league.
