CITY defender Jon Otsemobor is looking for a Carrow Road crowd to help lift the Canaries to a win against table topping West Bromwich Albion this Saturday at Carrow Road (kick-off 3pm).
"The crowd are behind us all the time at Carrow Road, it will be the same against West Brom and it's a big influence on us," said the former Liverpool trainee.
Otsemobor is in no doubt about the Baggies strengths but feels confident that the right result is on the cards at Carrow Road. "They are the best team in the league. They are top of the table and play the best football as well from watching them play, but everyone knows they are beatable.
"Not so long ago Preston beat them so it's not like a game that we are going into thinking we need a point, we are going in confidently thinking we can take all three points," said the 25 year-old.
He told First News that this match will be a big test for the City defence who will be tasked with keeping the Championship's leading goalscorer Kevin Phillips in check.
"We have been doing work on the back four this week and it's something that all the defenders are prepared for so hopefully if we can take it into the game we can get the right result.
"I think it's about getting in their faces, not just the danger men but all around the pitch making them work for ever ball and I feel if we do that and play our football then we have a good chance."
The right-back is under no illusions about the position the Canaries find themselves in going into ahead of this game but remains confident that they can pull City away from the relegation zone.
"The table doesn't lie and we are still in there but I feel another win would keep us clear of the drop zone.
"I feel we should have been safe by now regardless of the start of the season that we had.
"We are where we are for a reason so hopefully we can take as many points from the next games and avoid the drop zone," he said.
