NEW DEAL FOR FOZZY
CITY Captain and midfielder Mark Fotheringham has put pen to paper on a one-year deal.
The 24 year-old joins Robert Eagle in signing-up for next season's campaign as Glenn Roeder looks to rebuild his squad over this summer break.
Fotheringham joined Norwich in January 2007 as a free agent after spells with Celtic, Dundee, German club SC Freiburg and Swiss side FC Aarau.
Fotheringham made three senior appearances for Celtic after coming up through the youth ranks at Parkhead before moving to his home-town club Dundee in 2003. He went on to make 55 appearances (four as sub) at Dundee before moving to Freiburg in Germany for a season.
He went on to join FC Aarau in Switzerland last year and went on to make 13 appearances for them before parting company with them in January 2007 and moving back to Scotland to train with Rangers.
Since joining City last January 'Fozzy' has made 38 start and 8 substitute appearances and has scored 3 goals.
The Scotsman said: "I would like to thank the fans for their support last year after a disappointing season. I am delighted to have signed for another season. There's only one thing on my mind coming back for pre-season - to push as hard as humanly possible to reach the Premier League."
