NORWICH City will start the 2008-09 Coca-Cola Championship campaign with a trip to The Ricoh Arena to face Coventry City.

The first home game will see Blackpool make the long trip to Carrow Road on Saturday August 16. The third game of the season will see the travelling Norwich fans make their way to Wales to face FA Cup finalists Cardiff City.

Two dates that City fans will be looking for are this season's East Anglian derbies. The Canaries will provisionally host the Tractor Boys on Saturday December 6 (subject to change). The reverse fixture at Portman Road is provisionally set for Saturday April 18, City's third from last game of the season.

The Canaries first evening game at Carrow Road falls on Tuesday September 16 when City will face QPR.

Doncaster Rovers will be the first newly-promoted side from League One to visit Carrow Road on Saturday October 25. Swansea City will make the trip from Wales on Saturday November 15. Nottingham Forest will head to Carrow Road on Sunday December 28.

The traditional Boxing Day fixture is away this season as Norwich head to the capital to face Crystal Palace. Due to New Year's Day falling on a Thursday this year, there will be no league fixture as the third round of the FA Cup is being played on the weekend of January 3.

The Canaries could be set for an exciting run-in to the end of the season with four big games. Play-off semi finalists Watford will visit Carrow Road on Monday April 13 and this is followed by the journey to Ipswich. City's last home match will see last season's relegated Premier League side Reading visit Carrow Road on Saturday April 25.

The final fixture of the season will take place at the Valley as the Canaries face Charlton on Sunday May 3.
