1st: Spurs kick-off towards the Norwich and Peterborough stand.

4th: Hoolahan and Pattison link on the left wing but ball runs out for a Spurs goal-kick.

5th: Jenas tumbles in area under Omozusi's great last ditch tackle.

9th: Croft cross deflects off Gilberto and is caught by Gomes.

10th: A Dos Santos cross for Spurs deflects of City new boy Stefanovic between Marshall's legs to give the visitors the lead.

15th: Pattison cuts the ball back to Hoolahan who lays the ball off to Cureton. His shot is safely gathered by Gomes.

16th: GOOAALLL! Cureton puts the game to 1-1. Otsemobor places a ball through from midfield, It looks an easy touch for Ledley King but he slips allowing the City forward to slot the ball past Gomes.

18th: Jenas clears Marshall's bar from 20 yards.

22nd: Jenas brings down Bertrand on the edge of the Tottenham area but the referee gives nothing. The City right back recieves treatment.

23rd: Dawson takes knock to face as he battles with Wes Hoolahan. The Spurs defender has a small cut under his left eye and heads straight down the tunnel. Huddlestone replaces the defender. Zokora drops back in to central defence.

28th: Croft causes havoc down the right wing again leaving Gilberto in his wake but his cross is just behind the attacking Norwich players and the Spurs defence. 

30th: City captain Fotheringham makes a good challenge on Modric but the referee blows his whistle. The free-kick from Dos Santos is met by King but Marshall makes a great reaction save. The corner comes to nothing.

36th: O'Hara shoots from 25 yards but it is easily gathered by Marshall.

38th: Russell replaces Bertrand. Pattison drops into left back.

44th: Confusion outside of the City box allows O'Hara to steal the ball and feed it to Darren Bent on the right. He has time to place the ball and blasts his shot across the goal past Marshall into the bottom left hand corner.

Half-time: City 1 Spurs 2

The boys are back out for the second half and we are underway with City attacking the Norwich and Peterborough Stand.

45th: King is replaced by Assou-Ekotto while new boy Modric makes way for Lennon. Huddlestone and Zokora become Spurs' centre backs.

49th: Russell breaks down Gilberto's attack and passes the ball back to Marshall.

50th: Gunter cuts the ball back and Dos Santos fires a shot in but yet again the City 'keeper makes another fantastic reaction save palming the ball out for a corner. The corner comes to nothing.

53rd: And the City 'keeper does it again! Lennon finds Dos Santos on the penalty spot, he shoots but Marshall is up the challenge once more.

56th: Pattison sends in a looping cross from the left.  The ball drifts into the box and forces Gomes to tap the ball over his bar to safety.

57th: A cross from Assou-Ekotto is low and teasing, it's met by Darren Bent with a stooping header for his second of the match.

59th: Lennon fires a cross in and Marshall gets down low but his parry falls to Dos Santos. For the third time Marshall denies the Mexican from close range.

60th: Changes for both sides. Shackell comes on for new signing Stefanovic and Gilberto is replaced by Gareth Bale for Spurs.

66th: A deep cross from Lennon finds Gareth Bale on the back post. Acrobatics from the Welshman are called for, but his foot finds nothing but air, much to the delight of the Snake Pit.

68th: Chris Martin replaces Jamie Cureton in attack.

72nd: Bent gets his hattrick after a powerful Dos Santos shot comes off Marshall. The Spurs striker takes a touch and fires the ball passed the City 'keeper.

75th: Bent grabs another and gives Spurs their fifth. Gunter found space down the right and placed the ball across the pitch to the open Bent, he took his time and got his fourth of the night.

78th: Not for the first time Gareth Bale is given a little wake-up call from Otsemobor. The City rightback does the Welshman for pace again cutting the ball out which rolls to Marshall safely.

80th: Luke Chadwick comes on for City replacing Wes Hoolahan, Dos Santos makes way for Taarabt for the visitors.

86th: Darel Russell came close to getting one back for City. Croft laid the ball off to the midfielder from the right. Russell fired in a left-foot half-volley and forced Gomes to make a top class save palming the ball away from his bottom right corner.

89th: O'Hara hits a shot from 25 yards but it's an easy stop for Marshall.
