CITY FANS TRAVEL IN FORCE
THE CANARIES look set to get more superb support from the Yellow Army on their travels this season.
Glenn Roeder's men kick off the 2008-09 Coca-Cola Championship campaign at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) - and so far a whopping 2,050 Norwich fans have bought tickets to be on hand to get behind the lads.
With tickets for the game still on sale, Saturday's following is one of the largest for the first away game of the season since 2000 and is thought to be one of the best since the 1970s.

City's Customer Services Manager Richard Gough told First News: "Tickets for the game at Coventry have been selling well and we would hope to sell quite a few more between now and Saturday. Unfortunately we only have detailed records of away attendances from 2000 onwards, when the current system was installed - but we believe it will be one of the biggest turn-outs for the opening away game of the season since the seventies, if not earlier.
"The Club's tremendous away support has been a real feature of recent years, which when you consider the mileage involved for fans travelling from in and around Norfolk is a testament to their loyalty and passion for the Club. I'm sure Glenn and the team will really appreciate some noisy support from the Yellow Army on Saturday and in future away matches."
