A HOST of past players will be returning to Carrow Road for a special reunion and exhibition match in aid of the Canaries' Historical Trust on Sunday, September 7.

One such name is fan favourite Steen Nedergaard who will feature in the team of Canary legends, captained by Bryan Gunn and with appearances from former Norwich stars such as Dale Gordon, Robert Fleck and John Polston. Town favourite Simon Milton will be bringing an Ipswich side on the day, for what is hoped will be just as an exciting encounter as the last reunion game, which saw a 4-4 draw between the two local rivals.

The event will start with all the former players present being introduced to the crowd through a parade at 2pm. The exhibition match will then kick-off at 3pm. Spectators will be seated in the Jarrold Stand only for the match, with tickets priced at £5 for adults and £1 for concessions. There will also be a two-course buffet meal at 6.30pm in the Norfolk Lounge, which is priced at £15 a ticket.

All proceeds will go to the Historical Trust, which is a registered charity set-up to maintain and preserve all aspects of Norwich City's history for future generations of supporters.
