On The Ball with Benedict Cordy.

Full-time: City 1 Sheffield United 0

That's it, it's all over!!!!!!! City win at Carrow Road for the first time this season.  Brilliant scenes here at Carrow Road, 24,000 people's weekends just got that bit sweater!!!

90+1: City counter with Croft on the right, he links up with Cureton who lays the ball back to the winger, he cuts in from the wing and fires a shot in with his left foot into the top left hand corner. Brilliant play from the winger, he must have heared me shouting "be a hero Crofty, be a hero!!!" Great stuff from Lee.

90+1: Goooaaalllllll to City!!!!!!!

89th: Grounds slips and Webber is through one-on-one. He picks the bottom right hand corner but Marshall produces a great save. The 'keeper is surely going to be man of the match after some of these saves.

86th: A great cross from Curo on the right forces United to put the ball out for a corner. Fozzy sends it towards the back post and the Blades clear.

85th: City are now playing quite deep, and the Blades are looking to come back into this game. Could be a nervous last five minutes.

83rd: Hendrie curls a shot in from the right after City allowed him far too much space. Marshall dives at full stretch and it beats him, thankfully it beats the post as well.

82nd: City are keeping a hold of the ball well, and are pressing the Blades. Darel Russell hits a shot from 25-yards but it just clears the bar.

76th: Kenny makes a great save to deny the Canaries the lead. Otsemobor releases Croft who cuts back a cross into the box, it beats Cureton but Sibi hits it on a half volley heading towards the top left-hand corner. The Blades 'keeper dives and gets his fingers to the ball pushing it wide. So close.

75th: Curo and Sibierski link up well allowing the number 10 to get a shot away. Kenny catches but nearly drops it. Good play from the City strikers.

74th: Free-kick to the Canaries on the left. Fozzy and Hoolahan stand over it. They play it short to Russell who lays the ball back to Hoolahan, his cross is deep and looping. It finds Sibierski but his header goes well wide.

72nd: Rusty battles hard and wins the ball in the Blades' D, rolls the ball to Hoolahan who strikes the ball from 25-yards but it clears the bar.

68th: The fans stand and applaud as Adam Drury makes way for Wes Hoolahan.

66th: City free-kick, 30 yards out, Sibi heads it back into the box from the back post but it's too much of a stretch for Russell to connect.

65th: Lupoli makes way for Jamie Cureton, no bandage for the striker today.

64th: Adam Drury is down with cramp.

62nd: Adam Drury has a go at goal but the Blades defence get in the way of his effort.

60th: Speed gets a yellow card after arguing with referee Crossley again. He has been getting stuck in today so he might have to ease up a bit now.

58th: Grounds sends a long ball over the top that Lupoli chases. Kenny has to come out of his box and headers the ball clear but only to Bertrand. He takes a touch and readys to shoot but is closed down quickly.

55th: Kilgallon kicks Sibierski in the head, City free-kick. Fozzy to take from the right 30 yards out. His cross finds Russell but his header goes across goal and wide. Half chance for City.

54th: Long throw from Halford finds Speed but his header goes well over the bar. Today's attendance is 24,175.

51st: Halford goes in the book for a foul on Bertrand. Drury whips in a great cross that the Blades put behind for a corner. They manage to clear Fozzy's corner to safety.

50th: Trouble for the Canaries as Otsemobor comes close to scoring an own goal. A cross from Montgomery hits the righ-backs foot but Marshall gets a foot on it. A few nervous faces in the City crowd there.

47th: Bertrand has had a good start to the second period, linking up well with Adam Drury.

Sheffield United get the second-half under way, City now attacking the Barclay.

Half-time: City 0 Sheffield United 0

45+3: Darel Russell has a great shot from the D which is well saved by a diving Kenny to his right. I think alot of the fans thought that was the opener.

45th: Four minutes to be added.

44th: Marshall makes a save from close range, Sharp is offside anyway. He stays down after it appeared that he save was with a particular area of his body! Mrs Marshall will not be pleased with that.

43rd: Corner to the Blades but big David Marshall catches with ease.

41st: Otsemobor carves through the defence and shots but it's blocked yet again by a last minute tackle from Kilgallon.

40th: Lupoli has a half chance as he drags the ball onto his left foot, lets fly from the edge of the area but Kenny gets down in time to make the save.

36th: Good chance for City as they win a free-kick "about 26 yards out" according to my colleague. Otsemobor hits it hard and low but it's easily gathered by Kenny.

33rd: Drury makes what looked like a great challenge but the referee awards a free-kick. It's for hand ball as the defender rolled onto the ball after the tackle. Beattie takes the free-kick but it clears the bar by a long way.

28th: Free-kick to the Blades, exactly in the same spot as QPR's free-kick that led to the only goal on Wednesday. Beattie looks set to hit this one. But no, it's Cotterill who curls it round the wall and forces Marshall into another fine save. The Scotsman is having to do more in this game than he has done in three of our earlier games put together.

26th: Billy Sharp goes through and fires a shot across Marshall's goal just wide of the post much to the delight of the City fans.

25th: City are forced into a change. Matty Pattison makes way for Arturo Lupoli.

25th: "You're just a small town in Ipswich". And the Oscar for most original chant goes to.......

23rd: Corner to United but Grounds rises and headers clear. Good defending from the youngster.

22nd: A gentleman in the lower Barclay wearing a pink top is getting a lot of attention from the Blades fans.

18th: Sibierski is down holding his left knee. He is back up but limping.

17th: City corner from the right. Pattison to take. It's deep and the Blades deal with it.

15th: Montgomery recieves treatment and the game comes to a stop for a couple of minutes.

13th: Speed comes close to given United the lead with a header but Marshall produces a a great save to deny the Welshman.

12th: Rusty has a half-chance as he chests the ball and hits a volley towards the Blades' goal. He get's too much top spin on it though so Kenny gathers easily.

10th: "Pattison magic" says one member of the press. Pattison turns on a six-pence and sends a cross in but United head it away. City have started well.

8th: Quinn has a shot but it's easily saved by Marshall. City counter with Croft and Otsemobor and win a corner. Kenny drops it in the six-yard box, Otsemobor shoots but it's blocked and cleared.

7th: Sibi takes a push in the back and joins the crowd in the front row of the Jarrold stand. He reappears and seems to be ok.

5th: Free-kick to City about 30 yards out after Russell is brought down. Sibierski and Fozzy stand over the ball. The ball is played out wide to Croft who finds Grounds in the box but his shot is deflected. The Blades survive the pressure and win a goal-kick.

4th: The Barclay are in good voice. But it's Sheffield United who are attacking. Billy Sharp clashes with Marshall as he dives to win the ball.

1st: City start brightly attacking down the right, we have seen two clever flicks already from Fozzy and Crofty, Pattison tries to finds Antoine but the ball just gets away from him.
