YOUR SHOUT FROM ASHTON GATE
Your Shout written by Benedict Cordy.
16:49 - City have a freekick in the right ahnd corner. Pattison will take. We are into the final minute. Three minutes to be added. Pattison fails to beat the first man but it goes for a corner. He whips it in but Basso manages to claim it.
16:44 - A good ball from Pattison is chested down by Lita, he turns but is cut out just before he can shoot. Now the Robins have a freekick from 30-yards out.
16:41 - Bell is coming on, I imagine for Crofty, although the number seven has been getting stuck in today. Bell is on for Croft, lets hope his pace can produce something. City are playing deep as I type, the homeside looking for a second.
16:34 - Bristol City take the lead through McCombe. A long freekick from McAllister finds the tall defender in the six-yard box and he taps away with ease.
16:33 - Pattison shows his strength breaking down the left but his cross is a bit too heavy beating Lita and Russell.

16:27 - Bradley Orr goes in the book for bringing down Pattison as City looked to break. Annoying that as he would have been in acres on the left,
16:23 - Maynard "as in the wine gums" as a member of the media has just said comes on for Bristol City. He is the main feature in the matchday programme, a James Bond themed photoshoot. Let the puns begin...
16:20 - Was Crofty pulled down there in the box by McAllister? I've seen them given.
16:19 - Fozzy to take a corner from the right. It clears everyone and allows Trundle to attempt a counter, a great tackle from Omozusi stops him in his tracks.
16:17 - A great tackle from Croft in the centre allows him to thread the ball through to Lita. The striker doesn't connect with the ball brilliantly and it's an easy low save for Basso.
16:14 - Johnson crosses from the right but Kennedy gets his head to the ball just before Adebola in the six-yard box.
16:12 - Another silly free-kick is given away in a dangerous area. Yet again it's just outside the area. Lets hope it's not third time lucky. Some sort of training ground move is used and it's not very convincing, more like an NFL play!!
16:10 - Just been handed the attendance and there are 957 City fans here. Fantastic turn out. There are 16,791 here in total.
16:09 - The Bristol City right-back is "Sticking his Orr in" at the back....Come on we all thought of using that one! Cligan shoots from 30-yards out on the half-volley put it goes wide of the right-hand post.
16:06 - Leroy is getting some boo's from the home fans this half, I'm surprised when you look at his record whilst he was here. Bristol City have a free-kick on the edge of the box, it's a similar spot to their free-kick in the first-half. It's rolled to McIndoe but his effort climbs higher and higher into the Atyeo Stand.

"As for the game, sounds decent, have to say I thought we'd get thumped, but sounds like we are playing some alright stuff, you have to wonder what Patty has to do to score though"

16:02 Gary Johnson has sent his side back out already, The City players have yet to return to the pitch.

"I'm keeping my fingers crossed Clingan stays fit and uninjured - he seems to be the shining beacon in the gloom"

15:48 - That's the half-time whistle. A half in which both teams had good chances but yet again David Marshall was called into action a number of times to keep the score at 0-0 going into the break.
15:46 - Just realised it was a year ago to the weekend that Adam Drury picked up his knee injury against Bristol City, lets hope that it's nothing near as bad this time. Two minutes to be added.
15:44 - City corner thanks to Crofty. Pattison takes but it fails to reach a City player and the homside clear.
15:42 - Croft gets a shot away. It's a curling effort with his left foot but it clears Basso's bar. We are making another substitution. Adam Drury is making way for the Doc. His first action this season.
15:40 - Adam Drury is down again, receiving treatment from Simon Spencer on his right leg. He limps off as Bertrand gets the game back underway with a throw-in.
15:38 - Another great chance for Bristol City. Johnson Jnr goes through but Clingan gets back to cut him out. Now Marshall has made a great save from Trundle. Nothing comes from the corner. City could do with the half-time whistle right now.
15:35 - Sibierski has left the pitch with an injury but the Canaries haven't been able to make the change yet. City captain Mark Fotheringham looks like he is coming on. And he does, Rusty joins Leroy up front.
15:33 - Croft manages to beat about three Bristol City players but can't control his cross which clears the Robin's bar and goes out for a freekick.
15:31 - We are on the ropes a bit here. Another cross from the left heads towards Adebola, this time Adam Drury is brave diving in with the big forward doing enough to deny the striker to make a touch.
15:29 - In Pattison's defence pMorgan_771 the Bristol defenders had got back to cover and had about three men either on the line or in the six-yard box. Don't think they were best pleased with their 'keeper!!

15:26 - Basso has a nightmare dropping the ball on the edge of the area, Crofty picks it up and lays the ball to Pattison, there are red shirts everywhere! The midfielder shots but it runs wide. Basso owes his team mates one there.
15:24 - Hats off to Face99, he finally gets the pun in that we were all wanting to us, that was the time, and he took it!
15:23 - Basso at the other end now makes a good save from Lita. The forward cut in from the left and fired a right footed effort hard and low but the Brazilian 'keeper palmed it clear.

"Kennedy has been assassinated already!"
Face99
15:20 - The 'keeper is called into action again. Fontaine was given to much space by Omozusi and got a shot away, it looked like it was going to creep into the bottom corner but the Scotsman got down low and pushed it wide. Come on City!! The homeside have us stuck in our half at the moment.
15:19 - Bristol City have a great chance here from a free-kick. Just to the right of centre McIndoe looks set to hit it. He does and Marshall produces a great diving save to his left.
15:16 - LQ asks, so I will deliver! It's an overcast day here in the West Country, and a good turn out here at the Gate. The Norwich turn out is impressive, I'd say around 700 or 800. Little Gary Johnson is out barking orders to his players, Mr Roeder is sat six rows infront of us, no doubt speaking to Lee Clark on the touchline.
15:15 - Adebola puts a late clumsy challenge in on Kennedy and catches his ankle. He needs treatment, fingers crossed he can come back on.
15:14 - It's end to end stuff here. Now City break well. Clingan sends in a cross that Orr clears as far as Pattison, the midfielder hits the ball first time b ut it clears Basso's bar.
15:12 - The homeside are coming back into this now. They have another corner but Marshall comes out and collects in the air.
15:10 - Bradley Orr goes down in the City box but referee Hall isn't giving anything.

"Thought Bell might have got the nod today after a good cameo vs Derby, good to see Kennedy back"
Frewerp
15:07 - Another corner to City. Pattison doesn't send in the best cross and the Bristol City defence drive the ball clear.
15:04 - City start the better of the sides but Adebola just had a good chance to give Bristol City the lead but couldn't reach the cross as he sprung forward with a diving effort.
15:02 - Clingan wins the Canaries a corner. Pattison will take. Swings it in but the Robins manage to clear.
15:01 - We are underway at Ashton Gate. Come on City!
Well the teams are in and there are a number of changes to the City squad. Both centre-backs John Kennedy and Gary Doherty have returned from injury. The on-loan Scotsman starts at the back with Adam Drury joining him in the centre, Matty Pattison comes back after missing the Derby County game with a tight hamstring. Leroy Lita returns to Ashton Gate for the first time since leaving the Robins in 2005. City's last trip to "The Gate" ended in a 2-1 Bristol City win with the homeside heading in an extra-time winner.
