AFTER scoring his first goal for Norwich against Derby at Pride Park, John Kennedy says although it felt good he was still bitterly disapointed not to retun to Carrow Road with all three points.
Kennedy scored in the 64th minute of City's 3-1 defeat against the Rams, but it wasn't enough to enable the Canaries to build on their two recent home victories.
"Scoring my first goal for Norwich was good," said Kennedy. "It brought us back into the game for a period. Obviously getting beaten was disappointing, the first half was poor and then the second half was better but that third goal killed us.
"I'm just looking forward to the next game now and we want to get as many wins as possible now."
Looking to the future and to City's next game away to Burnley this Saturday, the defender said consistency was the key in order to move on up the league. He added: "We just have to keep working hard, I think we've been inconsistent. We've had good games, then we get a poor one so we have to find a level of consistency in order to get another win.
"We're not sitting in a good position in the table so we want to be moving up and doing all we can to push on up the table. We've got a good bunch of lads and staff here, it's just taken a bit of time getting used to each other. I'm sure it will come good because we've got the quality it takes to do well."
