16.55 - And that's it, the final whistle is blown. A late half-hearted appeal for a penalty after Mooney goes down is turned down and a hugely frustrating afternoon for the Canaries comes to an end. Wednesday were tight and compact there's no doubt about that, but only some highly-debatable decisions by the officials here today have stopped City from grabbing the point they just about deserved. Having said that, it was a disappointing performance from City today, particularly in the first half. Other scores mean Norwich move down one place and are now hovering just one position and one point above the Championship relegation trapdoor. City must now regroup and attempt to take a point or more from next Saturday's tough trip to the Liberty Stadium in Wales to take on Swansea.
16.50 - We're into four minutes of injury time. Desperate stuff.
16.49 - Tommy Spurr scythes down sub McDonald - and is duly shown his second yellow card in the space of a few minutes. Wednesday down to ten men.
16.44 - I don't believe this. Massive controversy as referee Mick Russell first awards a goal for a close-range header from Mooney and then decides to over-rule that decision on the advice of the assistant referee who is 40 yards further away from the incident than he is. Can only assume the decision is that there was a push in there.
16.41 - After Hinds heads narrowly wide for the visitors Bryan Gunn makes a double substitution with youngster Korey Smith coming on to make his debut and Cody McDonald thrown into the attack. Making way are Alan Gow and David Carney.
16.38 - While the referee inexplicably calls play up as Norwich press he is miles away from play as a rumpus breaks out in the Wednesday box. Several players from each side get involved and eventually, after consulting with his assistant referee decides to book both David Mooney of City and Owls skipper Wood. Baffling.
16.35 - Alan Lee goes down heavily under a challenge but referee Mick Russell sees no problem with it and play continues - to the well-voiced annoyance of the Canary fans.
16.33 - Alan Gow shows great footwork to weave his way into a shooting position on the edge of the area before drilling an effort a couple of feet over the bar. Better.

16.28 - Lee Croft comes off to warm applause to be replaced by Alan Lee. The change is well-received by the Norwich faithful who really have not had much to cheer about this Norwich performance so far. Can Lee make the difference?
16.21 - As the game passes the hour-mark you can't help but wonder if changes need to be made. As if on cue Alan Lee and Korey Smith start warming up.
16.17 - Today's attendance is 25,385.
16.13 - A scramble in the visitors' box sees Mooney go down claiming for a penalty, while Carney pounces on the loose ball only for his shot to be blocked well by the sliding figure of Buxton.
16.09 - Jermaine Johnson gets the better of Lee Croft on the Wednesday left and fires in a low cross-cum-shot from a tight angle...but as Jon Otsemobor instinctively sticks out a foot the ball takes a cruel deflection which wrong-foots Marshall as it flies inside the post.
16.07 - Wednesday take the lead.
16.05 - The teams emerge for the second half with City attacking the Barclay but it's Wednesday who get us underway.
15.49 - As the half draws to a close Wednesday right-back Buxton drifts past a too-static Norwich defence and is allowed to curl a shot goalwards - fortunately it sails comfortably wide. The whistle goes and a poor first half is brought to an end. City need to try and raise the tempo considerably in the second half.
15.46 - After Croft wins a free-kick a good chance is wasted as Lappin hits the set-piece far too high and hard and it goes behind. It's not been a classic so far it has to be said!
15.44 - Mooney finds himself sprinting into the Wednesday area but with a chance to shoot he instead opts to try and find the arriving Carney with a pass - which eludes the Australian and the threat passes.
15.42 - A gradual improvement here from City against a composed and resilient Wednesday outfit. Croft is teed up by Mooney but opts to go for the bye-line and cross...and as his centre sails harmlessly over the other option might have been better with hindsight.
15.38 - Mooney goes down under the challenge of Wood but the referee is unmoved by shouts for a foul. In the next attack Croft fires a useful low ball across the box but there's no-one in the middle to connect and Wednesday clear their lines.
15.34 - A slightly better passage of play by City as Doherty wins another corner which Lappin takes...ooooh! Shackell climbs well to head downwards from four yards but it bounces off the shins of Owls 'keeper Lee Grant and is bundled behind for another corner.
15.34 - It's very quiet here. I bet the crowd is over 25,000 but the home fans have been very subdued. Gow wins a corner - come on you yellows rings out from the Barclay! That's more like it!

FLAG DAY - Panomania sent us this picture!
15.29 - Hi Panomania and happy birthday to Panomania junior from all at Norwich City Football Club. Panomania contacted the media team this week and sent us a picture of a flag he's had made...and we quite like it! See above...

"Just a quick one. I'm in the middle of a kids bithday for my son who is 5. The food is going down a treat on the norwich city disposables plates and cups ;) Any way i'm going for a 1-0 win for the city"

15.22 - Brilliant save by David Marshall making his 100th appearance for the Canaries. He shows brilliant reflexes to dive low to his right to finger-tip a drive from Tudgay inches wide of the post from Potter's corner.
15.21 - Wednesday are very fortunate to survive a penalty shout when the ball appears to strike Captain Richard Wood on the arm in the box from Carney's cross - nothing given by ref Mick Russell.

AWAY DAY - The Owls fans unveil a massive flag in their end before today's game
15.18 - As usual the Wednesday fans are hear in good numbers and good voice - I'd estimate about 1,500 have made the trip from Yorkshire.
15.16 - A mistake by Potter sends Mooney racing clear but he fires his effort into the side-netting.
15.15 - First real threat from Norwich as Otsemobor slices through a flat-footed Owls defence and takes it to the bye-line inside the box. With players arriving his cut-back is partially cleared and Sammy Clingan blazes the rebound over from the edge of the area.
15.13 - Wednesday look the brighter of the two sides so far - they are playing some crisp and purposeful football with City largely restricted to counter-attacks in the early exchanges.
15.11 - Apologies for the delay in bringing Your Shout to you today due to technical difficulties in the press box, which are hopefully now resolved. Varney puts the ball in the net for Wednesday - but his effort is correctly ruled out as he handled in the build-up.
15.01 - The game gets underway in bright sunshine.
14.57 - The teams are out at Carrow Road, one change for City, Lee Croft replaces Alan Lee who drops to the bench.
