DESPITE scoring his first City goal, striker Alan Lee, on loan from Crystal Palace, was 'disappointed' to leave Wales empty-handed after a 2-1 defeat.
Lee's looping header cancelled out Swansea striker Jason Scotland's first half opener. But the Trinidad and Tobago striker struck the winner from the penalty spot five minutes into the second half on the Canaries' first ever visit to the Liberty Stadium.
Speaking after the match, the Republic of Ireland international said: "We're very disappointed at the moment, but we've got to lift ourselves for Monday. We've slipped into the relegation zone, so we've got to be strong, brave and express ourselves.
"We came close, I went close first half (sliding an effort just wide), there wasn't much else I could do with the chance. We caused them problems, I felt we were going to score another goal, but it just didn't come."
Lee was understandably happy to get off the mark in yellow and green with his 33rd minute header from a Simon Lappin cross and is looking to add to that tally against Watford at Carrow Road on Monday (3pm).
"I was absolutely thrilled. I'm a confidence player, normally when I get one, I get more, that'll give me extra confidence.
"Like any centre forward, when you come to a club, you don't want to go too long without scoring and that can sometimes make or break your period at the club. You get an early goal and a few more tend to go in for you, I'll be looking for that and I'll just be thinking about goals on Monday, if selected.
"All the fans I've met in Norwich and at the training ground have been so nice and welcoming to me and I want to thank them for that. When I signed there was a lot of chat about Ipswich but the fans know that when you give one-hundred per cent, they don't care who you have played for, if you score goals and work hard, they'll be happy with you."

CELEBRATIONS: Lee 'thrilled' to score his first City goal
The 31-year-old is convinced Bryan Gunn's squad have enough to retain their Championship status and is looking forward to Watford's visit on Easter Monday: "The team have got enough, we've got some fantastic lads here and I think we've got enough to do it.
"Monday's game is huge, but I've got to say though that I am looking forward to it, a full house, loads of pressure, I love all that, so lets go, bring it on."
