"And my eyes aren't deceiving me! We've actually seen Norwich see a game out and kill it off in the last 10 minutes!
Onwards and Upwards!"
aruskinncfc
16.58 - That's it the final whistle goes and City have grabbed a precious win and three points. Ten-man Forest held on for a point away to Sheffield United, Barnsley lost 3-1 at home to Swansea and Southampton won 1-0. By our reckoning City have moved up two places and are level on 46 points with Barnsley and Forest thanks to our superior goal difference. It was an excellent display by City today with pride, passion and attacking flair - the whole enchilada.

"2-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAAAAAAA'MON!"

16.56 - Sammy Clingan sends a useful long-range effort arrowing wide as the seconds tick away.
16.55 - We're into four minutes of injury time.

"we are staying up say we are staying up"
panomania

"YEEEESSSSS!!!
I'm gutted now i missed the game due to work :(
There's only one GINGER PELE!!

"Corner Number 13 Unlucky for some not for us GOAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"
panomania
16.50 - Bryan Gunn makes a double substitution as Alan Gow and Ryan Bertrand make way for Adam Drury and Simon Lappin.
16.48 - It's 2-0 to Norwich as Club Captain Gary Doherty grabs a priceless second for City. Sammy Clingan's corner is headed downwards by Jason Shackell and bounces up on to the bar. The rebound falls invitingly for Doherty and he powers in an unstoppable header from six yards.
16.47 - GGGGOOOOOOOAAAALLLLL for City! You beauty!
16.45 - Watford win a corner as the tension at Carrow Road mounts. Marshall punches clear superbly...play switches to the other end where Mooney finds Croft with a great cross-field pass - Croft's shot is deflected wide. This is pulsating stuff.
16.43 - Alan Lee wheels away to celebrate after racing through and lifting the ball over Loach...but the assistant referee had already raised his flag for offside.

"Come on Crofty go get em...We need another to settle the nerves!
Swansea now 3-0 up..Come on!"
aruskinncfc

"I can't take much more of this! I'm on the edge of my seat"
panomania
16.37 - A glancing header from Jason Shackell as he rises well to connect with Clingan's corner - and Jon Harley desperately hacks it off the line with his 'keeper well beaten.
16.35 - Mooney tangles with DeMerit in the Watford box - both players tumble to the deck and the referee awards a free-kick to Watford.
16.33 - Sheer brilliance from Alan Lee as he is centimetres away from extending City's lead. First he shows power and commitment to surge half the length of the pitch before blasting a 22-yard effort against the post. The rebound comes out and when it eventually is worked round to Lee again his curling shot flies just over.
16.31 - A nervous moment as Tommy Smith's cross somehow evades everyone in the six-yard box and drifts across the open goal. Doherty perhaps should have got to that.
16.30 - City make their first change of the afternoon with Lee Croft replacing David Carney. Both arriving and departing player receive a loud ovation.
16.28 - As a cross from Carney's is headed away Clingan latches on to the rebound with superb first-time volley which whistles just past the post.
16.28 - The official attendance today is the highest of the season at 25,487.

"Now for us to score a couple more and for Lupoli to come off the bench and score the winner for Sheff Utd if you will......"
aruskinncfc

"Come on sheff utd take advantage of a 10 man forest. Norwich are living up now!"
panomania
16.20 - Ooh Alan Gow goes close with a well-struck angled drive which fizzes low past the far post.
16.18 - Alan Lee feels hard done by as he is booked for something the referee saw as he challenged for a high bouncing ball with Mariappa.
16.31 - Hoskins tees up Tommy Smith but the Watford striker blazes well high and wide from a good position inside the City box.

"Come on City keep going and get another!
Bravo Win Or Die
ON THE BALL CITY!
We are currently 20th on GD..keep adding to it!!"
aruskinncfc
16.08 - Watford get us underway in the second half having made a change at the interval with Jack Cork on for Daniel Rose.
15.51 - Gow shows great tenacity to win a corner deep into first-half injury time - but Clingan wastes it and the referee blows for half-time. A good half for City who perhaps would have hoped to convert at least one more of the excellent chances they created. As it is, Daniel Rose's own goal separates the two sides.
15.49 - Swansea have doubled their lead away to City's fellow strugglers Barnsley.
15.48 - The wall does its job and McAnuff's effort is charged down.
15.47 - Shackell crashes into Rose as the Watford player threatens and concedes a free-kick in a dangerous position as well as picking up the game's first yellow card.

"Leave the trumpets packed away till we are safe! Is that corner number 9 lol wasted by taking it short. Why oh Why do they take em short?"
panomania
15.44 - Gow hits another shot from 25 yards which takes a slight deflection and flashes inches past the post.
15.42 - A flowing City move down the right ends with Gow's shot being deflected behind for a corner.
15.41 - McAnuff's corner is headed behind by Shackell, with his next being well-collected by Marshall.
15.36 - Carney's corner is met by the sliding figure of David Mooney - but somehow with a combination of what looked like hip and hand he bundles it wide.

"'tis certainly looking good at the moment! BRING ON THE TRUMPETS"
martinbryant
15.32 - Surprise scoreline from St Andrew's where Plymouth have taken the lead against promotion-chasing Birmingham, who are down to ten men.
15.28 - Ooh a let-off for City as Will Hoskins unleashes a howitzer which rattles Marshall's crossbar before bouncing down and away.

"Nice goal celebration from Gareth "city lead" obviously busy doing the formal stuff. And as i type forest down to 10 men YESSSSS"
panomania
15.25 - Forest are reduced to ten men at Sheffield United as Kelvin Wilson is given his marching orders.
15.23 - Clingan whips in a free-kick which Mooney is a whisker away from heading home. In their next attack Russell's drive is palmed away by Loach as City press for a second.

"IT maybe an own goal but i'm happy YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLL Nice work from ozzy!"
panomania
15.20 - The Canaries take the lead in somewhat bizarre fashion. Carney passes to Otsemobor on the edge of the box but as the City player takes a touch and prepares to shoot Watford's Daniel Rose lunges in and proceeds to lob his own keeper from 20 yards.
15.19 - GGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOAAAALLLL FOR CITY!!!!!
15.18 - Mooney is set up by Alan Gow on the edge of the box but his shot is deflected to make the save easy for Loach.
15.17 - Clingan is forced to concede Watford's first corner at the other end. McAnuff's kick nearly falls to Williamson but the Canaries eventually hack it clear.
15.15 - Now Clingan takes one...headed behind. Great pressure...but his next is collected by Loach.
15.14 - City win the game's first corner after a beautifully weighted pass from Clingan opens up the Watford defence. Carney takes three flag kicks in succession as each is headed behind by Watford.
15.13 - Just quietened down a bit after a great start as City have enjoyed the better of the opening exchanges.

"Again another penalty decision not gone our way! The refs need some extra traning when we go in to the summer break!!!!"
panomania
15.09 - Two huge appeals for penalties for handball turned down by referee Steve Tanner as two efforts from Darel Russell appear to strike the hands of Watford defenders - but nothing doing from the well-positioned official. Meanwhile Swansea take the lead against Barnsley.

"Well Hello Mr Ferrari. You are getting later and later every week. Obviously busy enjoying the match day hospitality!!! Anyway a big "your shout" hello to all the media. And here it goes after a saturday i want to forget about lets hope the hornets don't but a sting into our championship survival hopes and lets hope the results go our way. I'll be happy with a scrappy 1-0 win ."
panomania
15.05 - City nearly get off to a sensational start as David Mooney slides in to rob DeMerit and then tries to square to Alan Gow only for Watford 'keeper Scott Loach to make the block.
15.04 - Wow that was a special moment, impeccable observed. Back to the action now and Darel Russell kicks us off.
15.01 - On the Ball City is delivered with passion to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. We are shortly to have a minute's applause for former Canary favourite Jimmy Neighbour who died on Saturday at the age of 58. RIP Jimmy from all at the Club.
Good afternoon from Carrow Road for arguably the biggest match for Norwich City Football Club since that fateful day at Fulham in 2005.
On that day too many of City's big players failed to turn up and the Canaries were duly stuffed 6-0 and bundled out of the Premiership.
Today Norwich face Watford with the prospect of relegation to the third tier of British football for the first time in half a century staring them fully in the face.
You feel only a win today will do for Bryan Gunn and his team, with other games involving Barnsley (at home to play-off chasing Swansea and Nottingham Forest (away to promotion-chasing Sheffield United) also of critical importance as we move into the endgame of the Championship relegation battle.
Today the recipe for success for City is simple - every single player needs to turn up...and bring their 'A' game with them. The Canaries need to buzz round the Hornets from minute one, they need to attack with passion and commitment and they need to get another huge Carrow Road crowd roaring them on from the start by coming out of the blocks well.
Can they do it? We are soon to find out. Join me, Joe Ferrari, here at Carrow Road as today's drama unfolds.
