14.42 - That's it the referee blows his whistle to signal the end of a controversial ultimately heart-breaking derby defeat for City.
14.39 - City are awarded a penalty in somewhat baffling circumstances. Debate rages in the press box as to what exactly it was for but meanwhile Sammy Clingan slams it home from the pot to make it 3-2.
14.37 - That's a killer blow. Sub Jon Stead makes it 3-1 to Town. With City all piling desperately forward he is deemed to be onside as the ball is flicked on to him. He finds himself with all the time and space in the world to slide the ball past Marshall and make it 3-1.
14.35 - As the minutes tick away McDonald gets a half chance but a difficult shot on the turn drops a couple of feet wide of the post.

14.30 - Sub Haynes is booked for a foul on Ryan Bertrand.

14.26 - Town make a double substitution - Dos Santos replaced by Danny Haynes and Jon Stead coming on for Counago.
14.25 - Gow's ball from the left curls towards two City players in the box - but with Mooney better placed to make the header McDonald jumps and heads over.
14.21 - The Canaries force a corner which Clingan takes - but once again Ipswich comfortably head clear.

14.19 - Ipswich are mounting the more dangerous attacks. A David Norris corss deflects wickedly off Doherty towards his own goal and Marshall saves with his knees.
14.18 - Lee Croft goes off and young Cody McDonald comes on for City.
14.17 - Alex Bruce is booked for going in with the elbow as he and Alan Lee challenged for a header.

14.14 - I must apologise as we are again having difficulty accessing your messages on our messageboard.
14.11 - Gow wins a corner for City but when he takes the kick himself it is easy for Town to clear a it doesn't beat the first man. Not the first time this has happened today.
14.06 - Disaster as Town are awarded a penalty. Kevin Lisbie is clean through and pushes the ball well wide past Daid Marshall before he goes down. The referee Mr Swarbrick decides a spot-kick is the right outcome despite huge potests by the Norwich players. Up steps Dos Santos and sends Marshal the wrong way from the spot with a low shot inside the right-hand post. 2-1 to Town.
14.05 - Kevin Lisbie breaks down the left and cuts inside - but his effort deflects off Otsemobor and behind. The crowd today is 28,274.
14.01 - Gow shows neat footwork to get himself in round the back of the Town defence and then blasts goalwards from 10 yards at an angle - but Wright blocks. At the other end Dos Santos hits a dangerous effort which Doherty does well to head behind. From the corner the ball drops to Balkestein but the Dutchman's drive goes into the ground and bounces over.
13.57 - The lively Mexican Dos Santos wriggles free inside the area and lashes a close-range effort towards he near post - Marshall shows superb reactions to get down and fist the shot behind.
13.53 - Alan Gow does well to win a corner for the Canaries. Clingan takes and the defence is forced to scramble it away for a throw on the far side.
13.52 - And Ipswich get the second half underway.
13.37 - There goes the half-time whistle and it's all square at 1-1. Just about right on the balance of play.
13.35 - Mooney climbs well to get on the end of Clingan's free-kick but his header is easy for Wright to collect.
13.34 - Counago heads just over after Peters gets the better of Otsemobor and crosses to the far post. We are in first-half injury time.

13.31 - Ben Thatcher is forced to limp off after receiving treatment and is replaced by Jaime Peters.

"Still convinced the game is there to be won if we are committed enough"

13.27 - Ryan Bertrand shows great commitment to recover his ground and slide in to deny Dos Santos as the Mexican shot goalwards. At the other end Alan Lee powers his way into a shooting position but his low effort is saved by Wright diving to his right.
13.25 - Alan Gow is booked for a foul on Alex Bruce to make it one yellow card apiece.

13.21 - Pablo Counago receives the game's first yellow card for a very poor challenge on Alan Lee. The resulting free-kick is pumped deep into the box by Clinagn and although Doherty does well to beat two defenders his header flies well over.

13.16 - Town win a free-kick in a dangerous position as Clingan brings down Quinn the goalscorer. The chance is wasted as Quinn himself blazes it well over the bar.
13.14 - City recover well from that hammer blow and Darel Russell brings a superb one-handed save from Wright, the Ipswich stopper tipping the ball over his bar at full stretch to keep out Russell's slick turn and shot from 30 yards.
13.12 - Ipswich score. A neat interchange sees Dos Santos send Alan Quinn free into the box and he slides a well-placed shot into the far corner of the net giving Marshall no chance. 1-1.
13.10 - The Norwich fans are the ones you can hear at the moment. Another free-kick for Clingan causes confusion in the Town box but play is halted for a foul by Doherty as he climbed to head goalwards.

13.04 - The Canaries silence the Ipswich fans as they take the lead. A deep free-kick from the right touchline from Sammy Clingan finds David Mooney completely unmarked and he powers in an unstoppable header inside Richard Wright's left-hand post.
13.03 - GOOOALLLL FOR CITY!!!!!
13.01 - Nearly egg on the faces of the Ipswich fans there. They were busy jeering a poorly-struck from David Marshall when it somehow bobbled right through their midfield and found Alan Lee. He fed the ball wide left to Alan Gow but the Scot dragged his angled shot narrowly wide of the far post from 14 yards.
12.58 - City defence has been under a few moments of pressure but despite not always clearing their lines with total conviction they are standing firm so far. Counago tries his luck with a speculative effort comfortably saved by Marshall.

12.53 - A storming run takes Jon Otsemobor round the back of the Ipswich defence but with support arriving he drives a low cross straight to a defender and the danger is cleared.

12.48 - And we're off - Darel Russell and Alan Lee get us underway. Former Town man Lee is getting a barrage of boos and is set for a lively afternoon methinks!
12.47 - Finally seems to be working - apologies for the delay. The PA is banging out 'singing the blues', Town are in a huddle and the Canaries wait to face them.
12.42 - The atmosphere is building here...and the tension in the press box is building as well as we're not having much joy joy trying to access the message board from here. This clearly makes operating Your Shout a bit difficult! We will try to get this rectified as soon as possible and meanwhile we will of course still bring you live updates from Portman Road.
12.34 - Hello and good afternoon from a Portman Road bathed in bright spring sunshine. The players are out on the pitch - which is in immaculate condition - and the stands are beginning to fill up with fans of both clubs for this, the 80th league clash between Norwich City and Ipswich Town.
This time there is a lot more than just local bragging rights for the summer at stake. Ipswich will be looking to avenge the 2-0 defeat they suffered at Carrow Road in December of course - but for Norwich today's game represents a chance to grab more points in their frantic scramble to climb out of and away from the Championship relegation zone. Yesterday's results were a mixed bag from a Canaries perspective, but their fate remains in their own hands. A win today followed by two more in their final games and Norwich are safe. Simple isn't it?
The starting line-up for Norwich shows one change with Lee Croft, scorer of the 25-yard howitzer that broke Ipswich hearts in December, back into the mix and replacing David Carney. Youngster Korey Smith comes on to the bench to replace Adam Drury.
The music has been cranked right up - the cheerleaders are out and fans of both sides are up for this one in a big way. 'We will rock you' by Queen is the current song of choice. COME ON CITY!!!!
