CITY BOSS PLEASED WITH NEW AWAY STRIP
SPEAKING at the launch of the brand new Norwich City away kit, Bryan Gunn said he's delighted with the latest strip for the Canaries.
As players Gary Doherty, Darel Russell, Adam Drury, Sammy Clingan and Cody McDonald modelled their new shirt and shorts combinations, the Norwich manager told canaries.co.uk his thoughts on the kit.
"It's fantastic, and we're here today at the Cathedral which features in our sponsors' logo, so it all blends in very nicely. I saw the kit in the build up of the design, and the players have seen it for the first time today at the launch - I think they're delighted with it.
"It's quite intimidating when you see teams come out in their white kits, so hopefully when we wear this we'll be intimidating teams in our away games. We're really proud of it, and we hope the fans like it too."
He continued: "I don't think our wash lady will be too impressed with the colour, but we'll have to get the washing machines up to scratch to get all the grass stains out! It looks good, and there's been a lot of thought in the process leading up to it's design - the main thing is the players feel comfortable in it and that the fans like it too, which I'm sure they will."

Head of Marketing Will Hoy said: "The shirt design involved a number of different parties. Designs were submitted to our kit manufacturer Xara who in turn supplied kit samples. From here we consulted fans, our sponsors Aviva, club staff and of course the players and management team at Colney.
"This process has enabled us to cover all the different elements we want to bring in to the shirt. We also took into consideration what's worked for us in the past and what we want to do in the future, and we hope we've got something our fans really like."
