TODAY has been a quiet day on the Norwich City front which has allowed us to update the website, edit CanariesWorld and then head off on a mini-tour of some Scottish grounds.
The squad split into two groups this morning, the players involved in yesterday's 1-0 win over Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone carried out a recovery session in the swimming pool under the guidance of Sports Scientist Mark Garfoot. Those who did not feature against the Saints worked on the training pitches with the coaching team.
After training and a light lunch the players departed their accommodation at St Andrews University and moved on to a hotel closer to Glasgow in preparation for tomorrow's match with Airdrie United.
As for the media team, we have spent mid-morning onwards editing CanariesWorld, compiling match highlights from yesterday's game and uploading the latest player interviews on to canaries.co.uk.
We then headed off on a anoraks adventure to Forfar Athletic, Brechin City, Montrose and Arbroath where the Second Division side took on Dundee United of the Scottish Premier League.

FORFAR ATHLETIC: Station Park
The hospitality at Forfar and Brechin was first class. We were given a guided tour of Forfar's Station Park by the club Chairman and a fellow Director, who we met marking out the pitch! We saw the changing rooms, boardroom and took pitch-side photos.
Next up was Brechin City's Glebe Park where Vice Chairman and Treasurer Martin Smith showed us around and presented us with a club badge, a batch of programmes and a bottle of 15-year-old malt from the boardroom!

Nobody on hand to show us around at Montrose but we popped in via an open gate and got our pictures.

Next stop was Arbroath's Gayfield Park where we took some pre-match photos of the ground and were invited back to watch the game by the club Chairman. We weren't the only City fans at Gayfield tonight, a good number of the travelling Yellow Army also took in the pre-season meeting with Dundee United which the visitors won 2-1.

Tomorrow we will bring you the team news ahead of City's match at the eloquently named Shyberry Excelsior Stadium when City finish their tour with a match against Airdrie United.
