CITY'S successful tour of Scotland ended with a 3-2 with over Airdrie United on Saturday and gave Bryan Gunn's squad a perfect three wins from three games while north of the border.
The media team's day began with an early call to Assistant Manager Ian Butterworth for team news and his own pre-match thoughts.
Once the team news and Ian's views were added to canaries.co.uk, it was then a case of us departing our Travelodge base in Dundee for the final time.
En route to Airdrie we popped back up to Tannadice the home of Dundee United and this time managed to get in for some pitchside photos.

Next stop was Kinross services for a quick sandwich lunch then on to the Shyberry Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie for City's final fixture of the tour.
Airdrie are in the Scottish Second Division but their excellent ground is certainly worthy of a far higher standard of football. The stadium was built about 10 years ago and we were told has an all-seated capacity of 8,500. Only the main stand was open today with just 574 inside for this friendly fixture.

The game was certainly eventful and the massive downfall of rain in the closing stages of the match had to been seen to be believed. After the match Bryan Gunn and goalscoring triallist Jens Berthel Askou had to almost swim across the heavily waterlogged pitch to conduct their post-match interviews on the opposite side of the stadium.
