CITY'S pre-season preparations continue tonight when Bryan Gunn takes his side to Selhurst Park to face Neil Warnock's Crystal Palace (7.30pm).
The Norwich manager told canaries.co.uk that there were no new injury concerns after the 1-1 draw with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's Manchester United XI. However, several individuals who didn't feature on Saturday are also set to miss the trip to South London, continuing their recovery at Colney.
"We haven't got any problems from the weekend, everyone looks ok," Gunn confirmed. "Cody McDonald came back to light training yesterday - he spent time jogging with Simon Spencer and we're hoping to maybe get him back into full training towards the middle of the week.
"Korey Smith is still recovering from his groin strain and Luke Daley is back in training after he picked up a thigh strain in Scotland."
Defender Rhoys Wiggins, who joined the Canaries on Friday from Palace, will definitely miss an early reunion with his former club, continuing his fitness work after a knee operation at the end of last season, Gunn continued: "Rhoys is working on his fitness programme and he's stepping up his work. He's working on some light ball work and he's shaping up well."
Gunn told First News he was sure his side would be in for a tough battle tonight, and added he was looking forward to seeing a familiar face in the form of Alan Lee.
"It'll be a good game - Palace are a strong side and they'll be well organised as they always are. They have good fitness levels and they had a great game against Bristol Rovers the other night, which they won 3-0.
"Alan is playing as their main striker at the moment, so it will be interesting to see him. It will also be good to see him on a personal level, we've been in touch over the summer and I'm looking forward to shaking his hand before the game as well as after.
"Alan's a wholehearted player and he always gives 100 per cent no matter who he's playing for. I'm sure our defenders will be in for a tough game."
Tickets for this match will be available on the turnstiles at Selhurst Park priced at £15 for adults, £10 for senior citizens and £5 for under-16s. There will also be a family ticket priced at £32 (two adults and two juniors with the ability to add further under-16 concessions at £1 each).
