Posted on: Sat 24 Oct 2009

TODAY'S Coca-Cola League One match with Swindon Town will see the latest edition of the Club's official matchday programme 'On the Ball' on sale.

Inside today's programme you will find manager Paul Lambert's thoughts on City's last three games away from Carrow Road. The City boss gives his views on the current crop of youngsters who have recently tasted first team action and expresses his disappointment at Monday's night heartbreaking last-gasp defeat at Elland Road.

Saturday's programme also carries an exclusive interview with striker Chris Martin who's clearly enjoying life back at Carrow Road following his eventful season on loan at Luton Town.

During an in-depth interview with programme editor Peter Rogers, Martin talks about the experiences he gained from his time at Kenilworth Road.

"The biggest thing I take from it was the experience of playing games and scoring goals. And also playing a whole season, I played 50-odd games last year, which is a lot and with it being my first full season, so I can now bring that experience with me into this season and future seasons. I've taken a lot from it and learned a lot as a player."

Martin also explains just what Paul Lambert has done to turnaround the Canaries' season.

"The gaffer has certainly given us all confidence. He has spoken to me and told me I can do it and that is a boost to hear that people believe in you and it helps you believe in yourself."

Priced at just £3, 'On the Ball' will be on sale from sellers around the ground on Saturday and available from the two Canary Store outlets at Carrow Road and The Mall, Norwich.

Readers will also find inside seven pages dedicated to visitors Swindon Town and the latest instalment of 'An Alphabetical Assortment' - an alphabetical look at all things Norwich City.

Also inside Saturday's official matchday programme is Academy Manger Ricky Martin's report on the youth team's great comeback against their Arsenal counterparts last weekend. In Ian Crook's column, the City coach asks - what's going wrong at Anfield?

For all this and all the very latest news and views from Carrow Road and Colney make sure you grab your copy en route to the match.
