CITY CONFIRM CONSULTATION CHANGES

Posted on: Tue 27 Oct 2009

CITY are pleased to confirm a new policy covering consultation with supporters which will enable more supporters than ever before to talk directly to the policy makers at Carrow Road and Colney.

The new consultation policy, which also confirms arrangements for watching the City first team squad train, sees the Club commit to:

- In addition to the question and answer session for shareholders at the Club's AGM, three more supporter forums involving the Club's Board of Directors held at Carrow Road each year - two open to all fans and one to representatives from every Norwich City supporter group able to attend. Supporters will have the opportunity before each forum to suggest any potential areas they particularly want to be discussed before the Forum enters the traditional question and answer session.

- Two to four SoccerPM! Roadshows around the county each year, where young supporters and their families will have the chance to meet City players.

- A live on-line question and answer session on www.canaries.co.uk with a member of the Board every month.

- Two open training sessions held at Carrow Road plus access to Colney every Friday (subject to training schedules).

These new measures will enable the Club to consult with a larger number of fans from all walks of Canary-supporting life.

Although as part of the changes the main meetings of the Supporters Consultative Group will no longer take place, streamlined and target-focussed supporter working groups will continue to meet with Club officials to consult on a wide range of key areas, including:

- Ticketing
- Supporter Experience (Home and Away)
- Disabled Supporters
- Long-Distance Supporters
- Young Supporters

Further announcements about the composition of these groups, their meeting dates and their targets will be made in the near future. Each group will meet four times a year.

Below is a draft calendar illustrating when the Club will consult with supporters over the 12 months ahead - the dates are subject to confirmation and depend on the availability of the Club representatives involved.
