LAMBERT INDUCTED INTO HALL OF FAME

NORWICH City manager Paul Lambert was voted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame last night.

Lambert who took charge at Carrow Road in August 2009 was one of eight new inductees at The Scottish Football Museum Hall of Fame Dinner at Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.

At the sixth annual Scottish Football Hall of Fame, Lambert was inducted alongside Willie Maley, Dave Meiklejohn, Jimmy Delaney, Alan Gilzean, Bertie Auld, Maurice Johnston and Steve Archibald.

They join 51 football legends already in the Hall of Fame including Sir Matt Busby, Bill Shankly, Jock Stein, Sir Alex Ferguson, Billy Bremner, Dennis Law, Kenny Dalglish, Alex McLeish, Henrik Larsson, Brian Laudrup, Alan Hansen, Ally McCoist, Walter Smith, Gordon Strachan and Archie Gemmill.

The Hall of Fame is a permanent feature in the Scottish Football Museum at Hampden Stadium.
