CITY have secured the services of promising young Newcastle United goalkeeper Fraser Forster until the end of the season.

The Championship club have agreed to let Forster stay at Carrow Road until the end of the 2009-10 campaign, including play-off games should the Canaries be involved.

The Magpies have also given permission for Forster to play in the FA Cup for Norwich, meaning the big stopper - who has recorded eight clean sheets in 12 appearances for City - will be available for selection when Paul Lambert's side travel to Carlisle for a second round clash on Saturday, November 28.
