YOUNG City midfielder Damon Lathrope has joined Blue Square South club Bishop's Stortford on loan until December 31.

The 20-year-old current reserve team skipper signed his first professional contract in January 2008, when he put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Although yet to make the breakthrough into the first team, Lathrope has clocked up 50 appearances for City Reserves, scoring five goals.

He first joined the Norwich City Academy as a youngster from Cambridge United in 2006.
