CHAIRMAN ON NEWS OF THE WORLD STORY

Posted on: Wed 27 Jan 2010

NORWICH CITY Chairman Alan Bowkett has confirmed the Club will be taking legal action against the News of the World for its story today (Sunday, January 24), claiming the Club could go into administration by Thursday and has called in financial experts Ernst Young and KPMG as potential administrators.

Bowkett told canaries.co.uk: "In all my years in working in corporate finance I have never read such tosh and complete fabrication. The News of the World will be hearing from our lawyers and we look forward to claiming substantial damages."
