TUDUR JONES JOINS YEOVIL ON LOAN

Posted on: Fri 29 Jan 2010

CITY can confirm midfielder Owain Tudur Jones has joined Yeovil Town in a one-month emergency loan deal.

The Welsh international joined the Canaries last summer from Swansea City, but with injury thwarting much of his campaign he has only featured six times this season in all competitions, scoring once.

Commenting on the move, City boss Paul Lambert said: "Owain's season has been a bit stop-start and it's important he gets a few games under his belt.

"I think Yeovil is a good team for him to go to with the way they play the game and they've got a good manager. Hopefully he'll get some games to get himself up and running."

The loan period runs up to and including Saturday, February 27.
