CANARIES legend Jeremy Goss will once again be staging his mini-soccer tournament - now in its 3rd year - at Carrow Road on Sunday, May 16, 2010.
The event is organised independently of Norwich City Football Club by football events company Football For Fans Ltd whose aim is to give ordinary fans and players the rare opportunity of playing at top venues in the country while also raising money for charity.
There will be separate 7-a-side tournaments for Under 7's, 8's, 9's, 10's, 11's and 12's and will be based on the rules for small-sided soccer. Each team will have a minimum of one hours pitch playing time.
A visit to the dressing rooms is all part of the day and the teams will line up in the tunnel at the beginning of the tournament. The players will then have their names announced over the stadium's PA system as they emerge from the tunnel and walk onto the pitch.
In the older age groups, there will be trophies and medals for the winners and runners-up of each competition with medals for every player in the Under 7's and Under 8's events. Gossy will present the awards and every participant will receive a signed certificate to commemorate the day.

Once again, the event will be used to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, via a raffle and all of the raffle proceeds will go to the charity. So far Football For Fans have raised over £14,000 for several deserving causes - including over £10,000 for Great Ormond Street.
Clubs interested in participating can contact organiser Jeff Garner (not Norwich City Football Club) via email at jeff@footballforfans.co.uk or mobile 07941 877570 for further details and prices.
